A discovery tour of Phnom Penh. After breakfast you will be met by your driver and guide. Gain insight into the recent dark history of Cambodia at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum – a former school converted to a detention center during the Khmer Rouge. Visit an equally as harrowing are the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. These are tough visits but important for learning about the country’s history.
This afternoon, start the visits Russian Market, the largest in Cambodia, where everything is sold from carvings to jewelry, clothes and souvenirs. We then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant for Khmer delicacies.
Next, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, name for the 5,000 silver tiles that cover the pagoda’s floor, known for its collection of gold, silver, crystal and bronze Buddha statues. followed by Wat Phnom, a beautiful hilltop temple with manicured gardens.

Start your day with convenient hotel pickup and head to Oudong, about 25 miles (40 km) northwest of the capital Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, begin your walk up to the summit of Oudong Mountain. Absorb at the vast landscape of the beautiful Cambodian countryside and witness ancient stupas dedicated to kings and royal families while your guide touches on some key historical events that took place centuries ago. Lunch at local restaurantLater, enjoy some appetizing local food before continuing to your next stop for Koh Chen where is an island located in the Tonle Sap Lake. It is easy to reach from Oudong and Phnom Penh. When approaching this island by boat, the first notable image you’ll get is the big sitting Buddha statue put peacefully near the river bank and beyond it is the roof covered with yellow tiles of a temple built in Khmer style. The lush green trees make the view of the island more beautiful and fresher. The craft tradition in koh chen village, It can be said that the soul of Koh Chen Village is clay and silver craft items. In 1970s, when Cambodia was under the rule of Khmer Rouge, the intricate crafts were nearly lost. However, this part of country’s culture is still preserved thanks to the huge effort of local artisans

8:00, Your driver will meet you at hotel lobby and transfer you direct to Sihanoukville and connecting speed ferry to island (sharing Ferry “GTVC Speed boat company or similar “ will Dep by 13:00PM “30mn ride”).
Once you arrival to island the resort staff will assist you from pier to the resort about 1000m walk.

Hotel staff will assist you to get on speed boat to return to lounge at mainland, then our driver will meet you to assist with luggage and take you to the Phnom Penh airport for your departure flight (Suggest evening flight).
